Transit Oriented Development Guide

During my internship with the Metropolitan Council, I had the opportunity to work on the Transit-Oriented Development “TOD” Guide, a resource for local planners, elected officials, planning commissioners, and others to learn about planning for and implementing TOD.

As part of this effort, I worked alongside Metropolitan Council Sector Representative Mike Larson to generate following case study on the development of the city of Eden Prarie’s TOD-supportive zoning ordinance.

This was an exciting opportunity to get into the nitty-gritty of planning and policy documents, and to workshop a research document with my colleagues.
