Climate Vulnerability and Resilience Mapping

Contributing to these ArcGIS Story Maps was a highlight of my internship with the Metropolitan Council.

In summer and fall 2018, I had the opportunity to work on the Metropolitan Council’s award-winning Climate Vulnerability Assessment. Working with Metropolitan Council Sector Representative Eric Wojchik and Metropolitan Council employees Ally de Alcuaz and Meghan Klapper, I contributed to the creation of two ArcGIS Story Maps:

One about Extreme Heat in the Twin Cities Metro, and one about Localized Flooding in the Twin Cities Metro.

The Extreme Heat Story Map was also featured on the Urban Planning news site Planetizen.
