About me

I am a recent graduate of Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where I majored in Geography with a focus on Urban Studies. In my current role as a Research Analyst at the Great Plains Institute, I have the exciting opportunity to conduct geospatial analysis, explore new approaches to information design, analyze data, and contribute to cutting-edge modeling and research efforts, all in pursuit of transforming the energy system to benefit the economy and environment.

I am passionate about intersectional approaches to climate and environmental planning, urban and regional planning, data analytics, and public policy. I’m particularly interested in using cartography, data analysis, and qualitative research to investigate and communicate about issues of inequity and power imbalance.

When I’m not working, you can often find me making art, listening to podcasts (a couple of current favorites are Undiscovered and The Daily), reading, trying out new crockpot recipes, or exploring the Twin Cities by bike and by foot.
